Effective date: July 19, 2026

At SalesJinja, trust is not a feature — it is the foundation of everything we build. SalesJinja is designed to help businesses capture leads, sync contacts, nurture prospects, automate workflows, and manage their CRM pipeline. We understand that your business data is sensitive. Your customer records, lead data, campaign performance, and pipeline history deserve serious protection.

4. Business Data Ownership

Your business data remains yours.

SalesJinja does not claim ownership of your leads, contacts, campaigns, CRM records, pipeline data, integration configurations, or business reports.

You grant SalesJinja permission to process your data only as needed to provide and secure the platform, deliver requested features, troubleshoot issues, maintain backups, improve service quality, and comply with applicable law.

5. Lead Data You Capture

When you capture or import lead information into SalesJinja, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the legal basis to collect, process, and use that information.

For example, when leads are captured through Meta Lead Ads, the lead has voluntarily submitted their information via a Meta form. You should ensure that your own privacy practices and disclosures adequately inform leads how their data will be used for CRM management, follow-up communication, marketing, and support.

SalesJinja acts as a data processor for lead data you capture, while your business remains the data controller responsible for the relationship with your leads.

6. Data Security

SalesJinja takes data security seriously. We use a combination of technical and operational safeguards designed to protect your data from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, loss, or disclosure.

These safeguards include:

  • Secure authentication
  • Role-based access control
  • Business-level tenant isolation
  • Permission enforcement
  • Encrypted data transmission (TLS)
  • Encryption at rest where supported by infrastructure
  • Secure API access controls
  • Nonce and session protection
  • Prepared database queries
  • Input sanitization
  • Audit logging and activity monitoring
  • Restricted administrative access
  • Backup and recovery controls
  • Security-focused development practices

SalesJinja is designed so that one business cannot access another business's private leads, contacts, campaigns, settings, or CRM records.

7. Encryption

SalesJinja uses encryption and secure communication practices to protect data during transmission between your device and our services.

Where technically supported by the hosting infrastructure, data may also be encrypted at rest.

For features explicitly described as end-to-end encrypted, SalesJinja will apply end-to-end encryption so that only authorized participants can access the protected content. However, not every platform feature may be end-to-end encrypted, especially where SalesJinja must process data to display dashboards, generate reports, sync leads, or provide business analytics.

8. Access Controls and Permissions

SalesJinja includes role and permission controls to help business owners manage who can access specific areas of the platform.

Depending on assigned permissions, users may have access to leads, contacts, campaigns, pipeline data, integrations, settings, notifications, or audit logs.

Business owners and administrators are responsible for assigning appropriate roles, removing inactive users, reviewing permissions, and protecting account credentials.

9. Audit Logs and Accountability

To protect businesses and improve accountability, SalesJinja may record audit logs for important actions such as:

  • Creating or importing records
  • Updating records or pipeline stages
  • Deleting records
  • Changing permissions or settings
  • Connecting or disconnecting integrations
  • Logging in or out

Audit logs may include user ID, action type, entity type, IP address, user agent, and timestamps.

SalesJinja uses Google APIs, including the Google Sheets API, to read and write data that you authorize. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • We only request the minimum scopes necessary to sync your Google Sheets data with SalesJinja.

  • Human review of Google user data is limited to providing customer support, debugging issues, or as otherwise permitted by the Limited Use Policy.
  • Google user data is not transferred to other applications, services, or third parties except as described above.

12. Meta APIs and Lead Ads Data Processing

SalesJinja connects to Meta Business Suite to capture lead data from Facebook and Instagram Lead Ads. Our use of Meta APIs is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy and Platform Terms.

In particular:

  • Lead data is collected only after a user voluntarily submits a Lead Ad form on Meta platforms.
  • We process lead data on behalf of our customers as a data processor, and our customers remain the data controllers for their leads.
  • We use lead data solely to sync, organize, and route it to the connected tools you authorize (such as Google Sheets, Mailchimp, and Zapier).
  • We do not sell lead data, use it for unrelated advertising, or combine it with data from other sources without your authorization.
  • We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect lead data and assist our customers in responding to data subject requests.

13. Third-Party Integrations

SalesJinja may integrate with third-party tools such as Meta platforms, Google Sheets, Mailchimp, Zapier, email services, SMS providers, analytics tools, or marketing platforms.

When you connect a third-party service, data may be shared between SalesJinja and that service to perform the requested function.

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. SalesJinja is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party platforms you choose to connect.

14. Payment and Subscription Data

If you subscribe to a paid SalesJinja plan, payment may be processed by third-party payment providers.

SalesJinja may store subscription status, plan type, payment references, billing history, renewal dates, and related account information.

We do not intentionally store full card numbers unless explicitly handled by a certified payment provider or required through an approved payment infrastructure.

15. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

SalesJinja may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you logged in
  • Secure your session
  • Remember preferences
  • Improve platform performance
  • Analyze product usage
  • Detect suspicious activity

You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling some cookies may affect login, security, or platform functionality.

16. Data Retention

We keep data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide SalesJinja, support your account, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements, and maintain business records.

For example:

  • Account data may be retained while your account is active.
  • Lead and CRM records may be retained for business, audit, or legal reasons.
  • Audit logs may be retained for security and accountability.
  • Deleted records may remain in backups for a limited period before permanent removal.

When data is no longer needed, we will delete, anonymize, or securely restrict it where reasonably possible.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to:

  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of certain data
  • Object to certain processing
  • Restrict certain processing
  • Request data portability
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

18. Data Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of your account or personal data by contacting SalesJinja.

Before deleting data, we may need to verify your identity and confirm your authority to make the request.

Some data may not be deleted immediately if we are required to retain it for legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or legitimate business reasons.

19. International Data Processing

SalesJinja may use infrastructure, service providers, or systems located in different countries.

Where data is transferred or processed internationally, we take steps designed to protect the data in accordance with applicable privacy and security requirements.

By using SalesJinja, you understand that your data may be processed outside your country of residence where necessary to provide the service.

20. Children's Privacy

SalesJinja is designed for businesses and is not intended for children under the applicable age of digital consent.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided personal data without proper consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

21. Marketing Communications

SalesJinja may send you product updates, onboarding messages, service announcements, security alerts, billing notices, and marketing communications.

You can unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails at any time.

However, we may still send important account, billing, security, legal, or service-related messages where necessary.
